"World's Quickest Cop" Wins Super Street at the 30th Annual Citrus Nationals

December 17th, 2011- Jupiter Fl. - Congratulations to Lt Rey Alonso driver of the "Palm Beach County Beat the Heat truck" for his overall Super Street win at the 30th Annual Citrus Nationals held at Palm Beach International Raceway.
After a 2 week delay due to rain Palm Beach County Beat the Heat went back on the track to finish the finals of the 30th Annual Citrus Nationals. Being the most coveted national event in South Florida the Citrus Nationals has completed the final event for the 2011 calendar year. With rain just a few miles away from the track all day, again PBIR hold some of the best weather zones in the county.· "It was a good race day", said Lt Rey Alonso Driver of the "Beat the Heat" truck. "our test runs and the tuning was perfect all day" Thanks to the entire team for an outstanding year, 2012 will be another great year with the launch of the new truck.

NSCAR/NOPI December 4^th 2011, Jupiter, Fl.- With a .004 reaction time the “World’s Quickest Cop” ends up on top to win the NSCRA/NOPI ET Bracket race at Palm Beach International Raceway.
A great showing and from the "sport compact" racers, this event was opened up to domestic cars as well, that added some horsepower to the event. With Rick's Rods TEAM cars running this event and our veteran champion drivers we were setting up for a good showing.

Jupiter Fl. November 28^th, 2011 - 30^th Annual Citrus Nationals was again the fall favorite here in South Florida. With a great crowd and a lot of great races thanks to TEAM Ricks Rods & Custom Fabrications scored all three days with some good finishes. “Weather was real good and we had lots of fans at this year’s event, everyone did great we are looking forward to the next big event”, with a full team showing we made some great passes, said Rick Costanza president of Rick’s Rods and Custom Fabrications.
